| Yes I definately do. This is an angel that has been banished from heaven for disobeying or rebelling against God, as punishment. In Christian belief the the name given to Satan is Lucifer as he was a fallen angel. | |

| I don't think there is hell as such, just different planes at different levels and as we grow spiritually we go up these like a ladder. | |

| i hear you panther - but you said that it is an angel that is banished for disobeying or rebelling god. If God exists in the form you are preposing then surely you are saying god is all that is good and with that are contradicting as a good god would not throw an angel down and punish for doing wrong - a good god would nuture and teach with love and kindness - not banish to doom. Any thoughts that a god will punish comes from a tyrinical group that want to scare monger the masses into submission and control. I am afraid i can't agree with the fallen angel theory of yours, but good questions to ponder - so thanks | |

| I believe God is like any human. Good and bad. Perhaps another thought that Lucifer is actually the bad side of God? As Jesus healed people of demons. Perhaps the Demons were Gods bad side and Jesus was his good side. HMMMM more pondering | |

Nope. I believe at one point in time, a man wrote a story about Lucifer and put it into a book called the Bible. but I think it is just that....a story. | |

| Interesting discussion. I'm gonna do my usual thing... probably annoy everyone by appearing to sit on the fence (ouch...splinters! )! I'm not really (sitting on the fence, that is... I'm sure I annoy people! ), it's just I like to see everything as just a little piece of a huge jigsaw puzzle, so like to find where each piece could possibly fit. So here goes... IMHO, I would see the concept of 'fallen' as being disconnected (to a greater or lesser extent) from the universal source of everything... or 'God' if you prefer that particular terminology. I don't believe that 'God' is anything like a human... either 'good' or 'bad'... to me that's too limiting a concept. The closest I have come to putting a definition on 'God' is that he/she/it is everything... and is recognised by us, here and now, as love. By which I mean the connection we have to all-that-is (usually played out in our own lives in a rather limited way via love for particular aspects of all-that-is: i.e. our family and friends). A true 'angel', I feel, could be a being that recognises and lives out this connection, not just with a few loved ones but with all of everything. A 'fallen angel' therefore, could be a being who has lost their connection with 'God'... fails to recognise their oneness with all, and therefore, in a way, punishes themselves via their own isolation and lack of connection to the wonderful, loving energies of 'God'. I do not believe that this universal source (God) would...or even could... punish anyone. I believe he/she/it is always connected to us (has to be... it is us!), but it's up to us to accept or deny that connection. Just a thought. | |

| I think that "Fallen Angel" is just a term used for an angel that has lost their way for whatever reason & with nurturing can get back into the fold. | |
