Healing for my Mum please.

I've just discovered that my mum has a lump in her windpipe. The results of her examination have come through, and it's been identified as a malignant tumor. She's 76, and her name is Margaret. She starts chemotherapy on Tuesday.

Any healing thoughts sent her way would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, Pam, she lives in Guernsey. I'm going across to see her in a month or two.

I've just spoken to the matron of the old people's home where mum lives. She's had her first treatment today, and she's happy that it wasn't as bad as she'd imagined. She's doing ok at the moment, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens; and how the treatment goes.

She's had her 2nd chemo this week and, so far, she's doing ok. There's one more week of chemo left, then she's got to have a few more tests to see how the cancer is responding... if it's shrinking or what. I'll keep posting updates.

Just a quick update...

Mum is doing ok so far. She had a problem last week as she was rushed into hospital with breathing difficulties, stomach pains, and a high temperature. It turned out that she had a reaction to one or more of her pills, but she's on a different type now and she was released from hospital on Friday.

Her chemo is making her feel quite weak, and a bit sick occasionally, but apart from that, she's ok at the moment.

sending these to your mum, that seems the problem with the chemo there are so many different side effects, one of them is breathing difficulties, hope here next lot of tests will be pos itve.

I'm going to Guernsey on Monday (1st June) for a week, to visit Mum.

I had a great week with Mum, last week. We had some real quality time together.

She's feeling a little bit better, but still weak & tired.

The doctor has stopped her chemo as she's too frail to continue with it, but she's now getting drug treatment to try and shrink the cancer.

Glad you had some good time with your Mum, Yes the chemo takes it out of you & if you are frail can understand,the drug treatment hope it does its job sending her & you all the best.
