What are your thoughts on mediumship? i've heard people trying to explain it, some simply don't believe it others think it's trickery, others think it is mind reading and even 'lucky guesses' what are your thoughts, are you a medium or do you think it's a load of rubbish?

I think sometimes there can be a certain amount of "fitting" in to what has been said for example - James Van Pragh said today "Has your mother crossed?" to which the man replied "no". oh yes it's your father then. That got me confused confused (see!)

However - I had a spiritual mediumship reading and Maggie Dugdale was spot on in every respect about my friend who had passed over with a hanging.

I don't want to sit in judgement of them entirely because I couldn't do anything even near as much as James gave to this person, even with the smart, quick move to make something fit.

I just think there are those out there professing to be mediums that can people read, and others who you cannot deny have a wonderful gift - Gordon Smith being the current fave! Oh and he is sooo nice too.

That surprises me with James I always rated him quite highly, Gordon Smith is a good medium.

I suppose the thing to remember is that not all mediums can read for everyone, but they should be honest if it's not working instead of twisting it top 'fit'

I do see why some people think its all fraudulent, because sadly there are many out there and they use tricks such as "cold reading" and so on, also its hard to find a good medium and once youve seen a bad one the rest kinda get tarred with the same brush sometimes. (the media dont really help either, forever showing frauds and showmen) I do believe in Mediumship, not only have i really had some great readings from them but my Auntie is a medium and ive seen her progress and seen what shes experienced along the way. I 100% believe

I have had only one good reading so far from an elderly lady many years ago, others that I have seen to me were hmmmm how can I put it, well lets say just showmen out for a quick buck.

I believe in mediumship but Paul doesn't, which makes things strained in the house because I can't get to watch or listen to things of this nature.
If only I could get him to go a see one & he got a message from his mum
