| Are your children psychic?
I believe we are all born with the 'sixth sense' and that this is gradually lost or stifled over time by nervous parents or the material world simply becoming more dominant ie school etc

| Very odd in this household! (no shock there!) Toni my eldest thinks there isn't anything else in the world but what we have here, but over the years she has come to believe and had dreams that have come true (like her mum!)
Nikki on the other hand is very very aware - she dreams of dead people who give her messages in the visits, she has a keen 6th sense and has seen various things from a child.
I always encouraged either of them to talk about what they saw - whether I thought it was correct or not, without giving disparaging remarks. I have always tried to explain things as best I could, or even admitting that when I didn't know - i just didn't know, so off we went to research.
I have always had time to listen to their deams and visions.
I think it's rather sad when it is all pushed away as mumbo jumbo

| Me too and Wendy I think it is important what you said about admitting you don't know something because then you are discovering together.
My youngest son used to see allsorts but is in denial now, my daughter is quite psychic as is my eldest son.
A lot of parents fear it or fear their kid will get mocked about it which is a great shame it is good more and more are rediscovering their abilities in adulthood though but even them many still have to keep it a secret, which is why places like this are good.

| all we can do as parents is be a beacon of light and guide them as they need it... at least as the years go forward there is less mocking at people - i know it's still out there but has improved a bit.... | |

| I think it has been helped with TV doing stuff like psychic detectives and John Edward, Colin Fry type shows - also there is so much more on the shelves to read about the subject - that has to be a bonus | |
