| Just as an update... my Mum started her 2nd lot of chemo this week. The doctor reckons she's strong enough to give it another try. She had to have a 3 to 4 week break between treatments as it made her so ill, and she's very weak & frail. | |

| Gary can understand why your Mum had problems with the chemo, My 3rd stint should be this coming Wednesday & it realy knocks you for 6, for a week to 10days am just not with it, & as think from what you said she was frail to start with so that willeven be worse, my cyle of it means that they give it every 3 weeks, sometimes thou thay said if it knocks you can be delayed for another week it depends on the anti bodies, hopefully they will be better this time, we are thinking about hyou both. | |

| Thanks Pam (+Somer), and Jay. Mum's started a weaker dose of chemo now, as she can't handle the full strength, so we'll have to wait and see what happens next. I'll post updates when I can get online. | |

| Mum's starting to get an appetite again, and is putting on a bit of weight now. She lost 2 stones since December.
She's on half-strength chemo, as she's too frail for the full lot, and she seems to be doing OK at the moment...
Fingers crossed! | |

| Hey gabe.. hope your mum is as good as can be. My mum has been diagnosed with cancer of the lymph nodes - been up to Yorkshire to visit - she is in private ward (on NHS) i think someone has ballsed up somewhere along the line - got her in for emergency chest xray only to be admitted for over a week - and a new diagnoses....
Not sure what's going on lately - that's three with Pam and your mum... healing thoughts to all x | |

| Thanks Wendy. Healing thoughts to your mum too. My mum's a bit stronger, and she's putting on weight, which is a good sign. She's due a test and x-ray soon, so should have more news in a few weeks. | |
