The Beginning..

What awakened your spirituality, was it a life changing event or was it a more subtle process, maybe you are just curious tell us your beginning here.

Can't remember there ever being a beginning as such. I just grew up with it and can't remember being any other way. One school holiday, however, i went runting around in my parent's room and found a ouija board. The box was yellowing and i could see the pictures on the front. I opened it up and instinctively "knew" to put the lid on and put it back PDQ!

I also remember my dad having a book with a lime green cover talking of 100 ghost stories and used to read that at about aged 9 and scare myself silly on my own!

Myself, I had the gift from birth I guess. My mom wasnt around much, but my grandmother raised me and she told me it was the devil working through me. It scared me silly and asked it to leave. An angel came to me and said that it will come when I am ready. I still had things happening to me but I just ignored it. Until about 5 yrs ago I could not ignore it any longer it was busting out wheather I wanted it to be there or not..it became loud and clear that the Kundalini was awakening period. It changed everything for me. It was an wonderful releaf and experience for me.

I am sorry to hear Sami that you were told it was the devil working through you that is a hard thing to have to deal with at such a young age. I guess it teaches us things when we have to endure adversity..
