Personally I don't believe this though many do, for one they'd be far too biased they wouldn't allow us to get hurt and therefore grow, I do believe they can help and assist us but not be our guides, your thoughts please?

i used to wonder about that but i think you're right jay, sometimes family have appeared to me in dreams which i think is for me to notice the significance of the dream, other times the dream has been very vivid which i think is a visitation........it's their way of showing me they're ok :huggy:

Yeah they'll come to reassure you, definately they may even offer you advice or show you something pertinent to your situation, but never full on 'guidance' I don't think so anyway.

I do not think that we have family members as Spirit Guides.
not to say that deceased loved ones do not come to us and help us or give us messages. but I believe a Spirit Guide is someone you contract with prior to incarnating, and if say your grandparent is already in a life on earth, they cannot be your full time Spirit Guide because they would be living out the life that they charted. I believe that we are all intertwined with each other. Through many lives, so I think it would be save to say that we all are relatives at one time or another. There for when we pass into another life we have a choice of wheather we would like to be a guide or reincarnate. These are my thoughts

Any idea what happens when you have a problem with your spirit guide. Mine had such a huge ego it was unreal.
He had the cheek to ask me to kill my ego so he could live his down here though me affraid
Last night he said to me as I was about to go off to sleep " I could have been big" and slapped me in the mouth.
I have now asked for a new guide with a lot less ego. O am not willing to give my ego up for somebody else to live theirs through me.
I feel very upset today. :hug1: anybody?

I know of four years and I also know that my agreement was to reach full enlightenment by 42 and as I did not take the last step in losing my ego he has failed in my blueprint of life, so now I am at a crossroads and need a new guide of which I am pleased to say.
I hope that I get one with really good qualities that are pure next time as time and not leave me to do all the hard work on my own, as I only saw him once and he rarely communicated affraid But I have learnt a lot from the experience :starry:

I bet you have.... he really doesnt sound like a Spirit Guide at all, and if he had just cropped up id be inclined to say he was an imposter! lol Im glad for you that he is gone, i understand he may be dissapointed that you didnt do as "planned" but the whole point to a spirit guide is to GUIDE you no matter what! maybe someone should of told him that lol
Good luck for your next spirit guide, i hope he/she is more productive in youre progress x
