we have a week in october too when the schools are off, mid term or something

realy now its only the office workers that get the mondays off as most shops open.

are you Wendy & Tawny finding this weather realy odd here its 9.15 & have the back door open & windows open at the front trying to get air through its so very mild and close here.wish we had instead by day.

it was dry today but no air had washing out for hours and it's still wet

Oh Pam we were at the dorset steam fair today and it was warm as anything and sticky icky - coming home it was black as your hat but we have our doors open and im baking... well in the literal sat here sense, not in the kitchen

sorry to here you are also suffering in your own ways, how was the steam rally.

Tawny sorry the washing didnnt dry ours did it was so warm but very still, have been out with the dog with only a thin strapped summer top on,(yes somer I did wear trousres as well)

the rally was great thank you- my granddad was one of the first to ride the new steam lorries by foden all those years ago. He also used to work on steam engines and also make them.

Going to the steam fair makes me feel all warm and comfy and feel that he is right there with me.

Am feeling so sorry for all of the folks that have suffered once again because of all the rain,, we got wet just loading the car ready for working tomorrow morning (we will be indoors) & it brought it home to me how terrible it must be to have your home flooded again, so am sure am not the only on who has thoughts for all those suffering, & hope all of you are ok.

have put somer in healing thread, re his back,
we actualy also went to Seaton, as we need to put in new stock ect, & pay the rent for our unit, & then we had a gentle walk on the prom & beach & it was realy lovely, so between his back & the sun shine & stoll its tired him out,
