- Have just heard that my cousin, who had a stroke many years ago is suffering again, the carers who went in to shower him (different ones come daily) didnt check the water temperture & basicly scolded him, he>s not able to have a skin graft as his health wont stand it, anyway thoughts for John would be gratefully received, its also effected his short term memory & he for the last 7 years has has speach problems because of his stroke & this is making him so frustrated, he is in a small type of hospital come home in Weymouth.

It's the stupid idiots who didn't take the temperature who are responsibile, I used to care for the elderly and that is very basic stuff do they dunk their kids in the shower or themselves without checking the temp I doubt it, makes my blood boil and gives carers a bad name | |

| Took somers dad for his check up today, & bumped into freind whose husband in his late 80's is dying & oh I felt so sorry for her as they had been called back to be with him as he was fading, so thoughts for the B.family of Wincanton, afterwards saw her son who'd just seen the Dr & they thought he wouldnt see the day out. They were such a lovely couple,& she has always looked after allthe family and up till 3months ago was making cakes to sell at a market everyweek to pay for extras she is 83, | |
