Forgiveness

Is it bad when you profess to be on a spiritual path, not to forgive someone for the evil they have done in their life when they have died?

Not if it's the way you feel. I think being honest with yourself is more important.

I think we should just accept the way we feel, rather than beating ourselves up about it, thereby making us feel even worse.

I'm having difficulty forgiving someone who has treated me like carp (my spelling's awful!) for many years, but I'm not feeling bad about not forgiving them. I try to forgive them, and sometimes I partially can, but I don't feel bad about not being able to fully forgive them.
