'Absent' Reiki

Has anyone given or recieved absent reiki please discuss your experiences here

Distant Reiki is great for those who are incapicated, I usually ask client to be open to recieveing at a certain time, and have had some good results. Reiki attunements can aslo be recieved this way

That's how I had my Reiki atunements. From a distance. (About a year before I discovered the original 'Vision' forum.)

I bought an online Reiki manual and attunement. I had to be 'open' at around 7.00 pm one evening to receive it, and I actually felt a wave of energy rush through me. It felt invigorating.

Since then, I've been using it in my general daily life when I need to add or calm energy in a situation or problem. I believe it's worked many times.

There are a lot of masters who frown upon distant attunements and will not recongise them. My argument is energy is energy if you can send distant healing then sending reiki attunements is the same. I suppose thier other arugement is 'training' but if you have a good master who is there for mentoring via the phone or online I really do not see a problem, but folks being folks and all that.

I did wonder at first whether it was genuine since it was an overseas website and there was no backup or support offered. I downloaded a full manual, and was told that I was to be attuned to 'master' level (all 3 levels at once) giving me access to all of it.

Their philosophy was also... "Reiki is for everyone and not everyone can pay high prices and have access to a master/teacher"

Since I was attuned, I've been learning slowly, on my own, how to use it.

That is the only probelm as having all three attunements can overload your energy system. if you need any help just give me a pm
